Equipping rangers to ensure they can carry out their duties effectively.

One of the fundamental objectives of the GRAA is to ensure rangers are adequately equipped so that they can perfom optimally in their efforts to maintain the integrity of protected areas.

Each year, the GRAA continues to source and distribute ranger specific equipment to rangers in need across Africa.

Africa's rangers are in dire need of optimal equipment.

Some of the equipment that is often required by ranger teams may be found below:

  • Uniforms
  • Boots
  • Field Equipment (Backpack; sleeping bag; swagroll; tent; torch; knife/multitool; radio handset; GPS/compass; Cybertracker; pocketbook; handcuffs; firearm; ammunition; etc.)

If you would like to support the GRAA in its efforts to provide basic necessities to rangers in need, or if you have equipment that could be of use to our rangers, please contact us.
